She recently revealed she was taking a break from hurdling after coming fourth in the 100m final at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

According to New Idea, the brunette beauty athlete is a favourite to be the next Bachelorette, and Channel 10 are apparently making a serious bid to get her on board.

‘The producers want to sign her,’ a source told the magazine. ‘She really is the sort of person they are looking for.’

‘The only issue they see is the fact that Michelle may not even want to be the Bachelorette. That kind of public scrutiny is not for everyone  but they are keen to give it their best shot.’

The magazine reports that alongside the 24-year-old track star, Sports Illustrated model Kate Wasley and Married At First Sight alum Davina Rankin are also in the running for the coveted reality TV role.

Producers are keen to enlist Davina because she was ‘ratings gold’ for the Channel Nine series.

Meanwhile, body confident Kate has caught the eye of the network because of her ‘huge online fan base’.

According the magazine, producers think she could be a breath of fresh air and a positive role model who could ‘set the show apart from shows like Married At First Sight and Love Island’.

Michelle rose to internet fame in 2012 after her signature pre-race jiggle was uploaded onto Youtube.

The video became a viral hit and was viewed over 20 million times in just a few days and earned her the nickname ‘Jiggling Jenneke’.

‘It’s just something that sort of happened in one of my races. Someone got ahold of the footage and decided to post it on YouTube. And somehow it racked up a lot of hits,’ she told Sports Illustrated.

She made her Olympic debut at the 2016 Rio games but left fans disappointed with her performance finishing at sixth in the heats round.

The University of Sydney student remained upbeat despite the results and raced in the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games this year.

Storming through a stacked heat, Jenneke secured a spot for the finals of the 100m hurdles in front of an adoring home crowd on the Gold Coast.

However, she just missed out on the bronze medal and promptly revealed she would be taking a break from the sport.
