Michelle Keegan jumps for joy as she films exciting Brassic 4 scenes

She’s back to work filming the fourth season of hit Sky One comedy series Brassic.

And Michelle Keegan looked stylish as she got into character as Erin Croft in a burnt orange jacket and pale yellow tracksuit bottoms on the Bolton set on Wednesday.

The actress, 34, jumped for joy as she shot new action-packed scenes where she and her co-star Joe Gilgun, 37, appeared to race a greyhound across an open stretch of grass.

In the scenes, Joe, who plays Vinnie O’neill on the show, had been holding a black dog by the collar as the pair stood in a field.

Letting go of its collar, the speedy pooch whizzed off leaving Erin clutching her face in anticipation and Vinnie throwing his arms out.

Michelle could be seen opening her mouth in a convincingly shocked expression as the black dog pelted it across the field from Joe’s arms, but the co-stars later jumped upwards and fist-pumped the air, suggesting they were pleased with the canine’s efforts.

The actress looked gorgeous in her costume and wore her long tresses loose in big bouncy waves.

Braving the blustery Bolton weather, Michelle soon wrapped up in a large black coat.

The committed actress made the most of her spare few minutes to go over her lines for the upcoming scenes.

Light drizzle showered down on the field as an assistant held an umbrella over the star’s head to keep her curls camera ready.

But it wasn’t long until the whole cast and crew had their hoods up as the heavens opened on the set.

The third series of the show is set to hit screens later this year. Series two ended on a cliffhanger as Vinnie confessed his true feelings for single mum Erin, just as he was being carted off by the police.

As he was being lead away, Erin, who has dated his best pal Dylan, whispered something inaudible in his ear.

Declaring his feelings, Vinnie said: ‘I know it’s wrong, but you’re the first thing in the morning, and you’re the last thing at night.’
