Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh was not short of moral support at the CFP National Championship game, with father Jack and brother John both at Houston’s NGR Stadium on Monday night.

During the first half, Harbaugh appeared to be feeling the pressure when his brother, Baltimore Ravens coach John, surprised him on the sideline.

The Wolverines coach had his hands on his knees and his eyes fixed on the turf when his older brother tapped him on the shoulder. The two then shared a heartwarming embrace.

Both brothers broke into a smile as they greeted one another. Weather conditions and a tornado threat in Houston had reportedly delayed John’s arrival to the stadium.

Their father Jack, who was sporting a Wolverines hat, was also featured on ESPN’s broadcast during the second quarter.

John Harbaugh was able to attend the game because his Ravens have a bye week after securing the AFC’s No 1 seed in the NFL playoffs.

Baltimore went on a six-game win streak before losing their season finale to the Steelers. Despite the loss, the Ravens boasted a 13-4 record this season as the leaders of the AFC North.

After missing kickoff, John watched the rest of the game as the Wolverines dominated the Huskies.

Earlier this season, Michigan was embroiled in a sign-stealing scandal that saw the Big 10 suspend Jim Harbaugh for the last three games of the regular season.
