A Michigan man is suing his parents for $86,000, accusing them of throwing out his massive porn collection worth $29,000 after they compared it crack cocaine.

The unnamed son is said to have fallen out with his mom and dad after moving back into their Grand Haven home in October 2016 following his divorce, federal civil court documents obtained by WXMI show.

He was then asked to leave their house, where he had carried out housework in lieu of rent, after ten months when police were called over a reported domestic situation.

The man, who now lives in Indiana, says he noticed the valuable porn collection was missing when they delivered his property to him in November 2017.

He says the collection worth $28,940 and more than 12 moving boxes full of movies and two boxes of sex toys had been destroyed.

In an email to his parents he is said to have written:  ‘If you had a problem with my belongings, you should have stated that at the time and I would have gone elsewhere. Instead, you choose to keep quiet and behave vindictively.’

According to court documents his dad replied: ‘Believe it or not, one reason for why I destroyed your porn was for your own mental and emotional health’

‘I would have done the same if I had found a kilo of crack cocaine. Someday, I hope you will understand.’

His dad also alleges his was kicked out of high school and college for selling porn to other students, adding in court documents: ‘I also warned you at that time if I ever found pornography in my house again, I would destroy it.’

‘We counted twelve moving boxes full of pornography plus two boxes of sex toys as you call them. We began that day the process of destroying them and it took quite a while to do so,’ court documents show his parents wrote.

The porn collector is also said to have called the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office – sending one officer 44 emails listing movies he says were destroyed – but prosecutors refused to press charges.

Their identities have not been released as it is a civil case without any criminal charges. An attorney representing the son had no comment when contacted by Fox 17.
