Michigan’s huge game against Ohio State was briefly halted on Saturday after a nasty injury to Wolverines offensive linesman Zak Zinter.

Broadcaster FOX refused to show replays of the gruesome incident which left Zinter requiring a cart to leave the pitch.

Zinter was blocking a defensive rival when another Ohio State player fell forcefully onto his bent leg.

His parents raced down to the pitch to see their son while Michigan players left the sideline and walked on to the field to support their teammate.

Zinter was able to sit up on a stretcher after being given urgent medical attention and was given a standing ovation by Michigan fans.
