- Witness captured footage of two drivers squabbling in residential street
- They grappled with each other and exchanged slaps before falling to ground
- Locals stepped in to separate the pair and tell them to get back in their cars
Footage has emerged of two middle-aged men rolling around in the street after a road rage row turned into a very tame wrestling match.
The pair exchanged slaps before taking each other to the ground after getting out of their cars in the Stockbrook area of Derby on Saturday afternoon.
The city’s council is investigating the footage due to one of the men appearing to be a licensed taxi driver.

A video shot by a passer-by shows the men arguing before grabbing each other by the throats. One man then grabs the other in a ‘bear hug’ and then fall to the ground.
The scrap was broken up by locals, who split the pair up and ordered them to get back in their cars and drive off.
A Derbyshire police spokeswoman said the incident had not been reported to the force and the manager of the taxi firm has refused to comment.
Derby City Council has launched an investigation into the incident, which happened at 3.30pm.
It is understood that the council’s investigation is being led by an officer who deals with licencing, and at present the council is trying to establish the identity of the taxi driver in the video.
