Miguel Maestre shows off his whopping 18kg weight loss transformation

Celebrity chef Miguel Maestre has showed off his dramatic 18 kilogram weight loss transformation after a stint in the South African jungle earlier this year.

In a snap posted to his Instagram, the 40-year-old TV personality is seen smiling from ear-to-ear as he posed for the selfie in a gym locker room.

In the photo The Living Room star showed off his slim figure while he wore bike shorts and placed his hands on his hips.

Despite his dramatic weight loss, Miguel revealed that he’s still got some way to go on his journey.

Alongside the snap, he wrote: ‘What a journey. Chop chop. Set your goals and focus in reaching one bit at the time, prioritise wot is really important and be yourself and no one else.

‘Make sure you look after your mind as much as your body,’ he concluded before tagging the charity, R U OK?

Chop chop! Despite his dramatic weight loss, Miguel revealed that he’s still got some way to go on his journey, writing: ‘Set your goals and focus in reaching one bit at the time, prioritise wot is really important and be yourself and no one else’

His inspirational post was followed with comments of support by fans and his fellow I’m A Celeb! contestants.

On Thursday, Miguel returned to Australia after spending five weeks in the South African jungle.

He later shared a video of him making his way to the car park, accompanied by his child Morgan, five, as he spoke on his iPhone.

‘There’s nothing in the world [better] than arriving home after 40 days in the jungle. Here we are, we made it!’ he was heard saying.
