Mike Epps shares emotional tribute as he mourns the death of his father, Tommie Epps
Another tragic loss for Mike Epps and his family.
The 50-year-old actor and comedian took to Instagram on Thursday night, February 11, to mourn the death of his father, Tommie Epps Sr.
The family’s heartbreaking loss comes just six weeks after Epps’ beloved mother passed away.

The Hangover star posted a photo of himself with his right arm wrapped around his father’s shoulders as the two flash glowing smiles on their faces.
‘Big RIP to my DaD TOMMIE L EPPS SR. Thank you for life and all the great memories and lessons,’ he began in the caption.
‘He was a Hard worker, Good father, and God believers,’ he continued, ‘fly High king, kiss mama for me.’
However, he did not reveal the reason for his father’s death.

The stand-up comedian also shared an emotional tribute to his mother, Mary Reed, following her passing a few days before Christmas.
‘Rest in paradise mama thank you for all the lessons and life it’s self you fought hard baby… because of you I will never stop fighting in this thing called life,’ he wrote along with a sweet snap of mother and son snuggled up in a photo.
‘She loved her kids and family and we had good times with her this is not a good bye it’s a We will see you later #MARYJERICE #HOMECOMMING #LETSREJOYCE #GODISGREAT.’

The Indiana, Indianapolis native first gained prominence when he played Day-Day Jones in the comedy film Next Friday (2000).
