Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino and his wife Lauren announce they are expecting their third child: ‘Good things come in threes’

The Jersey Shore family is growing.  

Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino, who was enlisted to help Angelina Pivarnick look for her birth father on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, is looking forward to being a dad again. 

‘Good things come in threes,’ the reality star wrote as he announced the big news on Instagram Tuesday.

‘Adding another pumpkin to our patch. Baby coming March 2024.’

Mike, 41, and his wife Lauren, 38, are already parents to Romeo, two, and Mia, nine months. 

‘Three under three, here we go ☺️,’ the expectant mom wrote about the increasing challenges of taking care of growing their family.

Having children was initially a challenge for the couple who have been married since November 2018. 

Lauren’s first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage in 2019.

That definitely brought us closer together,’ boutique owner told US Weekly in 2020.

‘Mike and I are an open book and that was a big reason why I wanted to share it,’ she explained about some of the stigma surrounding miscarriage.

‘Once we shared that, it was like a weight off our backs. Just to be able to help other people by sharing my story is always the best thing I can do.’

Good wishes came pouring in from friends and fans.

‘Welcome to the 3 club!!!!’ exclaimed Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi, who shares her three children, Lorenzo, 11,  Giovanna, nine, and Angelo, four, with husband Jionni LaValle.

Pal ‘Pauly D’ DelVecchio commented, ‘Hat trick!!! 3️⃣,’ followed by ‘Anotha one,’ from Vinny Guadagnino.

One fan had an idea for a new nickname. ‘Congratulations!! ❤️ Pretty soon Mike’s new name is going to be “THE POPULATION!!”‘ 

Mike will be sharing his and Lauren’s struggles to create a family and other challenges in his upcoming autobiography Reality Check. 

The book will also cover the reality star’s drug addiction and subsequent homelessness and his determination to remain sober. Reality Check is expected to be release November 23.
