Boxing legend Mike Tyson showed he is in prime condition for his sensational to the ring at the age of 53 in his latest training video.

Tyson has been putting himself through the paces ahead of his anticipated exhibition match – 15 years after his last fight. His opponent is not yet confirmed but rumours are swirling about who he will make his return against.

The video on his Instagram page, uploaded with the caption ‘Training smarter every day’, showed him going through a series of gruelling sessions. with the former superstar’s power and speed showing the hard work was paying off.

Tyson looks to be in the best shape since he retired from professional boxing in 2005 and his comeback fight is sure to attract the huge numbers. 

UFC star Jon Jones recently told the former boxer that he would accept a fight against him, but only if Tyson fought the 32-year-old in the octagon afterwards. 

Jones is unhappy with his pay from the franchise and, after Tyson said ‘a UFC fighter will never be richer than a first-class fighter’, publicly propositioned the boxer about a crossover.

Taking to Twitter, Jones said: ‘I’m listening, Mike Tyson’ before expanding further on his Instagram. 

‘I’ll box you in the ring if you promise to give me a real fight in the octagon afterwards,’ Jones said. ‘And because I respect you so much, I promise I won’t break anything on you.’

But Tyson is expected to fight someone closer to his own age than the 32-year-old Jones. His great rival Evander Holyfield, 57, has talked up the chances of fighting Tyson for a third time. 

Shannon Briggs, who has also look in incredible shape at the age of 48, has also been named as a possible opponent for Tyson.
