- If they are kicked out of the Europa League they will halt their interest

AC Milan are interested in offering Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata a route out of Stamford Bridge this summer and are also holding Radamel Falcao as their second choice.
Morata’s first season with the Blues plateaued towards the latter phases of the campaign after making a quick start to life in English football, and he has been linked with a move away from Chelsea with Juventus his most likely destination.
However, La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that Milan could look to hijack their Serie A rivals’ bid for Morata and look to take him to the San Siro.

The report also suggests that Falcao remains an alternative choice for Milan, who would seek to offer Andre Silva to Monaco as part of a swap deal should their pursuit of Morata hit a dead-end.
Which player they will end up with is dependent on their place in next season’s Europa League, however.
UEFA’s Club Financial Control Body have recommended that the Rossoneri be kicked out of the competition for breaching financial fair play regulations.

The Rossoneri have been investigated by UEFA’s Financial Control Body and could be dumped
They sought in December to reach a settlement with the European football governing body, but The New York Times reported last week a ban is ‘likely’ after speaking with two officials from UEFA.
Should this be their fate, it would be an all-time low for the seven-time European champions.
Milan failed to deliver last season where they finished sixth in Serie A – eight points adrift of the top four and their rivals Inter – despite a suffer of heavy spending worth approximately £210million. And things could only be about to get worse for the former conquerors of Europe.
A decision regarding their Europa League fate is expected early this month.
