The bombshells were spotted this past Friday sharing a kiss while lounging about in bikinis at the Il Sereno Hotel in Capri.
Over the weekend, Miley and her husband Liam Hemsworth announced that they had decided to separate after marrying only this past December.
‘Hi all,’ wrote Liam on Instagram Monday. ‘Just a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward.’
He added: ‘This is a private matter and I have not made, nor will I be making, any comments to any journalists or media outlets. Any reported quotes attributed to me are false. Peace and Love.’

However, despite the initial pacific tone the pair took about their breakup, TMZ reports that a bit of turbulence has entered the picture.
While Miley sources dish that Liam’s excessive use of drugs and alcohol contributed to the split, his insiders allege his pop star wife was unfaithful.
Brody, the son of Caitlyn Jenner, had a lavish wedding ceremony in Indonesia last summer with Kaitlynn.

In fact, the relationship fell apart specifically because of Brody’s refusal to make the marriage legal and have a baby with Kaitlynn, according to the site’s sources.
