If you were planning on an Indian takeaway feast tonight – there’s a new burger in town that has packaged up your favourite treats and sandwiched them between two toasted buns. 

Milky Lane, an Australian restaurant, has launched its indulgent ‘Get This Inidia’ burger in nine stores across New South Wales and Queensland – but only for the month of January. 

The towering $21 creation is packed with Butter Chicken, fried chicken coated with papadums and garlic naan fingers oozing with mozzarella cheese.

It is topped with crushed papadums, coconut vindaloo sauce, mint yoghurt aioli, mango chutney and sliced cucumber.

The restaurant has described the burger as ‘one of the best yet’ and a snap of it has captured the attention of more than 7,000 people on social media. 

Those lucky enough to try the burger for themselves have raved about it on Facebook, while others have had mixed reviews about the concept.

‘I’m both intrigued and worried, but may have to head down to Gasworks for it,’ one wrote. 

‘Butter Chicken and papadum coated fried chicken! Have I died and gone to heaven?’ another added. 

Milky Lane is known for its indulgent cocktails, milkshakes and burgers and in late 2019, wowed customers with the launch of a Glazed Donut Fried Chicken Burger.

The viral sensation was inspired by a similar creation by KFC in America and was made with two glazed doughnut buns, fried chicken, maple smoked bacon and sriracha sauce.

‘It’s been called ‘what the f**k is that’ ‘someone will die’ and ‘this is why Australia’s obese’ and it’s your turn to try this beast for yourself – you will NOT be disappointed,’ the restaurant wrote at the time. 

‘Available at all stores so get the ambulance on speed dial, tell mum ya gonna be crook tomorrow and let’s get it done.’

Milky Lane has stores in Bondi, Cronulla, Coogee, Crows Nest, Parramatta, Brisbane, Surfers Paradise, Newcastle and Kings Cross.
