A vlogger who prides herself on teaching women how to date billionaires has shared the rules she believes make up the ‘perfect etiquette for a lady’ in lockdown.

London-based Anna Bey, 34, who goes by the moniker ‘JetSetBabe’ online, argued that women should not be ‘letting themselves go’ whilst in quarantine due to coronavirus.

In her latest vlog entry on her ‘School of Affluence’ site, Swedish-born Anna, whose approach has landed her a wealthy banker boyfriend, claimed the biggest mistakes that signalled bad manners at home include drinking water straight from a bottle, and using toilet paper to blow your nose.

Listing her top eight faux pas, she said: ‘Etiquette is something we do because of respect for our surroundings, and respect to others and ourselves.

‘Home etiquette is quite valuable, and you should not be letting yourself go just because you are behind closed doors’.

1. Drinking water from the bottle

She claims: ‘Drinking from a water makes you look like a slob, while drinking from a glass lets you practice your manners.

‘It doesn’t matter if no one can see you, we should train every aspect of ourselves in etiquette.

‘This way we don’t leave space for relaxing into sluggish behaviour, and it helps you get into autopilot on your journey of refinement’.

 2. Using toilet paper to blow your nose

‘A pet peeve of mine is people who have toilet paper lying around the house and use it to blow their nose or wipe their mouth when they’re eating.

‘You should never have these anywhere around the house, unless it’s in the toilet.

‘I suggest you use Kleenex and cover it with a tissue box’.

3. Eating in front of the TV

Admitting that she occasionally does this herself, Anna says: ‘I’m not you should never do this – but just don’t make eating in front of the TV a habit.

‘You’re sitting there, not really tasting the food or making the most of the dinner or lunch, or connecting with the people you’re with.

‘As a result of eating in front of the TV you’re probably overeating, make an effort to enjoy the meal. Especially if you have a partner or family, how else will you connect?’.

4.  Fake flowers

‘When you compare fake flowers with fresh flowers, they really make you so happy and it’s such a big difference.

‘Buying fresh flowers on a weekly basis really goes a long way.If you can’t afford to spend up to £30 a week try flowers that will last you longer like orchids.

‘The point is – stop using fake flowers. Real flowers are what refined living and and high quality living.’

5. Don’t sit like a slob

Demonstrating a variety of poses which see her throwing her legs over the armrest and slouching, Anna continues in horror: ‘Some people do actually sit like this.

‘I’m not saying sit like this all the time, but find a way of holding youself up graciously.

‘I really see this with elite women that how they’ve trained themselves to be in the public eye is to some extent how they are at home’.

6. Having loud sex

‘I still don’t understand people who don’t mind their neighbours hearing when they’re being intimate.

‘Unless you’re somewhere where no one can hear you it’s not okay, and doesn’t justify the action.

‘You can still have a good time without everyone having to listen to it’.

7.  Clutter

‘This is important when it comes to refinement – keep your house clear of clutter.

‘The minimalists will always be more elegant than those with clutter, some level of possessions is understandable but keep it tidy.

‘The trick of decluttering is to have good organisational skills and systems in process. If it isn’t decoration put it away.

8. Releasing gas

‘Experiencing bloating is natural but you really need to think about when and in front of whom you release any gas.

‘It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been with your partner, passing gas in front of each other is just never elegant.

‘Be discreet or go to the bathroom – condition yourself to do this when you’re by yourself. Gain self respect and confidence at yourself’.
