Mindy Kaling continues to show off her trim frame in black leather trench coat for an appearance on the Today show

Mindy Kaling showed off her keen fashion sense during a stop in New York on Monday for a guest appearance on the Today show.

The former The Office star, 44, looked sensational in a form-fitting black minidress, which she paired with a set of sheer stockings. 

Adding a chic black leather trench coat, Mindy turned heads on the Big Apple sidewalks as she posed outside the studio.

Her natural good looks were accentuated with a bit of makeup as she kept her signature raven tresses long and loose.

The star towered over onlookers in a set of stiletto heels while she glammed up her style with a designer handbag. 

The NYC outing comes as the comedic writer has been enjoying motherhood with her two children – daughter Katherine, six, and son Spencer, two.

Mindy – who has never revealed the identity of the father of her children – keeps them out of the spotlight, including social media, although she admits it’s not easy.

‘I’m like any parent where I’m proud of the things they do,’ she explained to People. 

‘I think they’re so cute, and of course, I want other people to see it.’

Mindy has also been enjoying her recent health transformation. 

Back in May, the A-lister took to her Instagram to reveal her slim new physique and her  ‘side hustle,’ as she debuted a collaboration with the swimwear company Andie. 

Rocking a fabulous yellow one-piece, Mindy captioned the snap, ‘I bet you didn’t know my side hustle was swimsuit design’.

“I am so excited to launch my first-ever swimwear collection(!!) in collaboration with Andie!,’ she continued.

‘I am not crazy about trying on swimsuits….In fact, I kind of famously despise it?

‘But these are so flattering, I promise your new favorite suit is in this collection’.

Mindy’s health journey has been the talk for a while now and she’s been slowly opening up about it to her fans. 

‘I know people are really interested in the changes in my body, and I think it’s flattering but sometimes it’s just a little much, so I try not to tune into it,’ she dished to People.

‘The truth is that I spend so much time and energy trying to be healthy. 

‘I run or hike 20 miles a week and I lift weights. 

‘It’s a big commitment for me. I basically live in workout clothes so I can get it in.’
