Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison pleaded not guilty to two DUI charges from a drunk driving arrest in July.
On Tuesday, the 22-year-old entered his plea five months after the arrest in Los Angeles.
Addison told a Los Angeles County judge that he intended to fight a misdemeanor count for ‘Driving Under The Influence of Alcohol’ and another for ‘Driving With .08% Blood Alcohol Content.’
The arrest happened on July 12 when police reported that they found Addison asleep behind the wheel of his Rolls Royce on a Los Angeles highway.
If convicted, Addison – in the middle of a 4-year, $13million deal – would face a fine, loss of his license, probation, and potentially a short jail sentence.

He could also be facing a three-game suspension for breaking the NFL’s substance abuse policy.
While he did not plead guilty in court, Addison seems ready for the consequences if he faces retribution from the law and the NFL.
‘Whatever’s out there for me, whatever comes with it, I’ll own up to everything,’ he said in training camp. ‘I feel like anything that comes my way is meant to happen or is deserved.’
Minnesota drafted Addison out of USC with the 23rd overall pick in 2023. So far this season, he has 36 receptions for 575 yards and four touchdowns as the Vikings are 10-2.
Their two losses came between a five-game win streak and another string of victories that could stretch to six games when they face the Falcons on Sunday.
The wide receiver has a pretrial conference scheduled for the second week of January, shortly after the Vikings wrap up the regular season in Detroit.
