Minnesota Vikings wideout Justin Jefferson wins NFL OPOY while Nick Bosa is the league’s DPOY after a dominant season with the San Francisco 49ers

Minnesota Vikings wideout Justin Jefferson and San Francisco 49ers edge rusher Nick Bosa were named the AP NFL Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year at the NFL Honors night in Phoenix.

The star receiver had another stellar year, just his second in the league, despite the Vikes’ wildcard weekend exit.

Jefferson thanked God while receiving the award. He was nominated alongside Super Bowl quarterbacks Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes, and fellow pass-catcher Tyreek Hill.

The former LSU star led the NFL in receiving yards with 1,809 – 99 more than second-placed Hill. He had eight touchdowns and 128 receptions in 17 games.

Meanwhile, 49ers pass rushing stud Bosa was recognized for a phenomenal season at the forefront of a ferocious Niners front.
