A miracle baby girl was born via emergency C-section Sunday after her abusive father fatally shot her mother in the back while their child was still in her womb.
Delashon Jefferson had been involved in a domestic dispute with her spouse, Lagarius Rainey, at the family home in Dallas, Texas, before the physical altercation turned deadly.
The expectant mother was just four weeks from her due date when she was murdered. The baby, who survived the traumatic incident, suffered seizures due to lack of oxygen, doctors said.

Robertson’s fiancé, Daveron Sanders, then hurried in to intervene. He was shot twice in the chest but survived thanks to the efforts of a neighbor.
