Miranda Kerr has revealed her newest baby boy was named after her late grandfather.
The Australian model, 41, spoke to People about her family as she attended the star-studded annual Baby2Baby gala in Los Angeles on Saturday.
Nine months ago, Miranda gave birth to baby Pierre, the third son she shares with her husband Evan Spiegel and her fourth child overall.
‘His name is Pierre after my late grandfather, Peter. So French for Peter,’ she said, revealing the sweet provenance of the child’s name.
When asked what her other boys think of the new arrival, Miranda was happy to report they adored the youngest in the family.
‘They love him,’ she said, before adding that Pierre is the ‘light of our home.’
‘He’s just a little ray of sunshine and his brothers just adore him.’
‘When you’re having a new baby coming into the home, you often wonder, you’re like, “Oh, how are the boys going to react?” But they adore him,’ the former Victoria’s Secret Angel added.

Earlier this year, Miranda told The Sunday Times that Pierre ‘completes our family.’
‘I feel so blessed to have him,’ she told the publication.
Miranda also shares son Flynn, 13, with her ex husband Orlando Bloom who she was with from 2010 to 2013.

She went on to marry Spiegel, the CEO of Snapchat, in 2017 and the couple share three sons—Hart, six, Myles, five, and Pierre.
Kerr remains close with Bloom and his fiancée Katy Perry, with the singer, 39, previously saying their relationship dynamic was that of a ‘modern family’.
The Aussie supermodel rose to fame at the age of 13 after winning Dolly Magazine’s modelling competition.
She then went on to become Australia’s first Victoria’s Secret Angel in 2007.
Kerr now runs her own skincare company, Kora Organics.
