She is not shy when it comes to posing in front of the camera.

And on Tuesday, Maria Thattil did just that as she shared a sneak peek into a recent racy photoshoot she did before the release of her new book.

The former Miss Universe Australia, 30, went topless as she struck a pose for the camera and teased an exciting new project.

‘Next Wednesday, I’m announcing my next project. It’s been a few years coming … Save the date: July 12. What do you think it is?’ she wrote.

Maria’s post comes after she recently announced that she and her girlfriend Jorgia O’Hare have decided to call it quits.

The model revealed on Instagram last month that they are no longer dating after ‘a beautiful year’ together.

‘After a beautiful year together, Jorgia and I wish to share that we are no longer together,’ she wrote.

‘Her love healed so much in me and was a light that I was missing for a long time. Whilst we are no longer together, we have nothing but respect for each other and continue to support each other.

‘Our break up has been loving, safe, intimate, secure and respectful.

‘We will both be okay, but please respect our privacy – thank you for the beautiful support.’

Not long after Maria posted this to her over 200k followers, Jorgia also shared it to her own page, and added her own comment. 

She wrote: ‘Privileged to be loved by her. I will always stand in this woman’s corner… nothing but love and respect for our connecting.

‘Thank you all for supporting our journey together.’

The couple appeared on the cover of Stellar magazine together back in January after meeting online some months beforehand.
