The 25-year-old has not been seen since last Friday and her family and friends are now extremely worried
Concern is mounting for the safety of an aspiring actress who has mysteriously vanished in Los Angeles.
Adea Shabani has not been heard from since last Friday, which her family and friends say is very unusual for the 25-year-old.
Friends say she left the front door of her apartment unlocked, as if she were expecting to return soon.
The acting student left her native Macedonia to study acting and has only been in Los Angeles for two years, ABC7 reported.
Feas were raised after she missed an important class at the Stella Adler Academy of Acting and also when the normally avid social media user didn’t post any messages.
The last text Shabani sent was about red candles but offered no clues as to her whereabouts, loved ones said.
Friends have begun posting flyers of the missing woman, who the LAPD say was last seen at the 1700 block of Wilcox Avenue in Hollywood at around 11am on February 23, not far from where she lives.

Friends have put up flyers in a bid to trace the Shabani and her mother has flown in from Macedonia and hired a private investigator
‘Treat it as if it were your own family member, some of your own friends because believe me if you met this girl, if you knew this girl, she would be a great friend to everybody that knows her,’ said Lisjen Jovanovski.
‘She was not replying to text messages. She was missing, so I got worried,’ said friend Antonio Escovar.
Another friend, Emma Joe, told KTLA: ‘This is not her, this is not her. Something is going on with her, we don’t know where she is. It’s just so sad, we’re just hoping she’s alive.’
‘I don’t know, I don’t know what to think. I just want to find her,’ said Michelle Ljungcrandz.
Shabani’s mother has hired a private investigator to help with the search and flew in from Macedonia in a bid to find her daughter.
The missing woman is described as white with blonde hair and blue eyes. She stands 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs around 130 pounds.
An IMDb page for Shabani lists her as an actress with a credit as ‘All or Nothing,’ a project from 2017.
