Police are desperately searching for two missing teenage schoolgirls who were last seen leaving their Sydney school at lunchtime on Tuesday.  

Thanatphicha Pothasin and Telitha Mansfield, both aged 13, were last seen at 1pm on Tuesday leaving their school in Davidson on Sydney’s northern beaches. 

New South Wales Police believe the girls could be attempting to travel to Queensland via public transport.

Officers are now seeking assistance from the public as they are worried about the teenagers’ welfare.

The girls were last seen wearing their checkered school uniform but are believed to have changed clothing.

Police believe the girls may now be wearing oversized t-shirts and track pants.

They are thought to be hanging around the Northern Beaches and travelling on public transport.

Police also say it’s possible the girls may choose to travel on public transport to Chatswood, the Sydney CBD or even Queensland.

Thanatphicha is described as being of east Asian appearance with long black hair, brown eyes and is 155-160cm tall.

Telitha is of caucasian appearance with long brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information on the girls’ whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers immediately.
