The new mother looked glowing without makeup and swept her brunette locks into an updo.

Moana explained that giving birth ‘is the most beautiful thing a human can do’ but also ‘exhausting’ and ‘painful’, and watching Isabella go through it was ‘inspiring’.

‘Watching her push through 14 hours of labour was the hardest yet most inspiring thing I’ve ever seen. She made me feel like I could do anything, yet she was the one giving birth,’ she wrote.

The athlete added that all women who go through birth are ‘superheroes’ and that her wife had proved herself to be ‘strong’ and ‘resilient’.

‘Giving birth is not looked at or appreciated the way it should be. Women who give birth should be looked at like superheros,’ she wrote.

‘Bell was our superhero. She did so amazing and I’m beyond proud of her. She wanted to attempt a natural birth (no pain relief) and she did it.

‘Isabella, you are a rock star, and Svea already has such a strong, beautiful and resilient mama to look up to.’
