‘It feels so stupid to be complaining about this, but I want to talk about the reality of pursuing a career in modeling,’ she began in the TikTok, which has now been viewed more than 24,000 times.

While she said she didn't want to 'give up' on her dream, she added that it 'feels impractical to keep pursing something that is not happening for her'

‘It is an industry that has a lot of rejection. To get rejected and put back again over and over…’ she trailed off as she broke down in tears.

The aspiring model – who is turning 24 next month – added that it only gets harder as she gets older, and admitted that she’s terrified ‘time us running out.’

‘I started modeling when I was 19 years old and now I’m 23, turning 24 in two months,’ she continued.

‘It feels like time is running out. As I get older, I’m always put on hold for a job and then it falls through. I haven’t had serious work in four months.’

Despite the hardships, Hayley – who also works as a nanny for extra income – said there’s ‘nothing else she wants to do.’

‘But there’s an element of survival, you know, I need to make enough money to live,’ she added.

‘I’ve taken a huge risk to move to another country and live off of my savings to try and pursue modeling.

‘Money runs out as time goes on, and it’s becoming more and more frustrating. I am super lucky, I am so grateful to be in a position to do this and go after my dream, but it’s very, very frustrating.’

Many people took to the comment section to send Hayley love and support.

‘Keep going. You might be close to getting your dream job,’ one person wrote. ‘A lot of people who go after their dreams in art and fashion have to be patient.

‘I’m currently also in a “waiting” period, but as much as it is frustrating, it’s important to be patient and have a lot of faith.

‘It’s so much easier said than done, but I promise you, it’ll be worth it. Make the most out of everyday and keep doing little things you enjoy doing.’
