Model and gay porn star, 28, who once dated Calvin Klein is arrested for attacking a man with a frying pan leaving them with ‘severe and disfiguring injuries’
- Nicholas Gruber was arrested on March 11 for two crimes inside an East 76th Street building
- Gruber, 29, and co-defendant Brandon Steele repeatedly hit an unnamed person with a frying pan in September 2018
- The pair then refused to let the victim leave the apartment despite his pleas to go
- The beating broke several bones in his back, nearly severed his ear and may adversely affect his vision, the complaint states
- Gruber was charged with second-degree assault and unlawful imprisonment for that incident and faces up to seven years in prison if convicted
- He was previously charged in 2012 for punching a 20-year-old man after a night of partying
Calvin Klein’s former toy boy is one of two men charged in a ferocious frying pan attack that saw the victim ending up in hospital.
Nicholas Gruber, 28, was handcuffed earlier this week for the assault. 26-year-old Brandon Steele is also accused of taking part in the fracas.
Police said the pair scuffled with a 33-year-old victim over $4,000 inside Steele’s apartment on New York’s Upper East Side.

They pair bashed the victim with the pan so severely it left him with severe and disfiguring injuries according to the New York Daily News.
‘As a result of the repeated strikes, the victim was treated at Lenox Hill Hospital for several broken bones to the back, as well as a nearly severed ear and injuries to the orbital bone that could, potentially, affect vision,’ court papers say.
Gruber and Steele had known each other for years and had been pictured together at a David Barton Gym toy drive event in December 2010.
The pair have been charged with second-degree assault and unlawful imprisonment in the first degree.

Gruber allegedly lives in the same building as where the attack took place in an apartment he allegedly occupied after changing the lock.
Gruber was caught with methamphetamine and articles of clothing ‘alongside a receipt for said clothing’ made out to another person — a woman. There was also nearly $3,000 in cash in the home.
The woman told cops shes never received the package she’d ordered, and the super of the building told cops that Gruber had been spotted with a drill and a flashlight installing a new lock.
After being confronted, Gruber claimed to be subleasing the flat from a woman.

‘Everything in my apartment is my property,’ he said.
Gruber is charged with criminal trespass for being in the apartment, drug possession and possession of stolen property. He is free on $5,000 bail.
It’s not Gruber’s first brush with the law. The former gay porn star was arrested in 2012 after cops accused him of hiding cocaine in his underwear when they responded to a call that he assaulted a friend at the West Village penthouse apartment where he lived at the time.
Klein, 76, and Gruber who is some 48 years his junior, broke up four months prior to the wild incident but had dated for two years before reportedly growing apart.
