The 34-year-old, who hails from Tweed Heads, told The Daily Telegraph‘When I was growing up, support and education for Aboriginal kids was limited and for my mother before me it was even more so.’

‘This is why I have made it my goal to commit as much time and effort to changing this for future generations,’ she added.

After more than a decade in the modelling industry, Samantha is often approached by support groups to help guide the new generation of Aboriginal children.

Samantha previously teamed up with Tempe High School – which has 14 Aboriginal students – to back a new initiative called The Koori Club.

In 2014, Samantha visited Uluru in the Northern Territory to coach indigenous models as part of a showcase event.

‘I love speaking to young girls and telling them about my career,’ she told Channel Nine’s Today show at the time.

‘If it’s something they want to do, if they want to be a model when they’re older, [I can] just give them a little bit of an insight,’ she added.

Samantha, whose mother is Aboriginal and father is German-English, has been modelling since she was 13 years of age.

The 6ft Vogue cover girl is has been married to husband Luke Hunt for a decade.

The former Dancing With The Stars contestant famously stuck by her beau’s side after he was sentenced to four years in prison, of which he served two years, for the death of a grandfather following a fatal car crash in 2012.

Sam secretly married Luke in 2014, two months before he began serving his prison sentence for his involvement in the crash that caused the death of 78-year-old grandfather Kenneth Lay.

News that the couple had married wasn’t revealed until April 2016, after her husband had finished serving his prison term.
