A New York based model claims Bret Ratner (pictured) masturbated next to her in a car in 2008
A model had come forward to accuse movie producer and director Bret Ratner of masturbating in front of her almost a decade ago.
The New York based model, who spoke to Page Six under the condition of anonymity on Sunday, said the incident occurred in 2008 when the ‘Rush Hour’ director flew her out to Los Angeles for a photo shoot.
Ratner, 48, who also has a career as a photographer, allegedly committed the inappropriate behavior on the second day of shooting while inside a chauffeur-driven vehicle with her and his two assistants.
‘I put my hands over my eyes and said, “Stop. That’s disgusting.” But he wouldn’t stop,’ the model said.
‘As he is finishing, his assistant in the front seat hands him tissues.’
The model said that she felt ‘really uncomfortable,’ telling Page Six that she ‘never worked with him again.’
This latest allegation against Ratner comes just one day after actress Gal Gadot (Pictured November 11) said she would not participate in another Wonder Woman movie if Ratner was involved in it
At least two of the model’s friends, who she spoke to immediately after the incident, corroborated the story.
The model said that she did not report Ratner to the police because no crime was committed, adding the situation ‘was just really weird.’
In response, Ratner’s attorney, Lynda Goldman, told Page Six that her ‘client categorically denies this outrageous story.’
Goldman also provided e-mails from the two Ratner assistants that were inside the car that day writing that they saw nothing inappropriate that day.
Earlier this week, comedian Louie CK (pictured January 2015) admitted that he had masturbated in front of a number of different women over nearly a two decade period
This latest allegation against Ratner comes just one day after actress Gal Gadot reportedly said she would refuse to reprise her blockbuster role as ‘Wonder Woman’ if Ratner is any way attached to the project.
Harvey Weinstein (picture May 2017), the former head of Miramax studios, has been accused of multiple crimes including sexual assault and rape
Ratner, who has also been accused of sexual harassment by six women in recent days, helped finance the summer blockbuster, and took home a sizable stake of the $412million box office gross.
Ratner, the high-profile director of the Rush Hour series and X-Men: The Last Stand, is the latest in a slew of Hollywood heavy hitters to become ensnared in sexual misconduct allegations.
Earlier this week, comedian Louie CK admitted that he had masturbated in front of a number of different women over nearly a two decade period, saying allegations made in The New York Times exposing the story were ‘all true.’
Over the past several weeks, a number of high profile male actors – including Kevin Spacey and Dustin Hoffman – have been accused of alleged inappropriate behavior following a bombshell Times report on disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein.
Weinstein, the former head of Miramax studios, has been accused of multiple crimes by actresses and female industry figures, ranging from inappropriate contact to sexual assault and rape.
