Model sisters throw louchest society bash of the summer

Dog masks, riding crops and leashes galore — welcome to the most risqué society party of the season.

To end the summer with a bang, model sisters Edie and Olympia Campbell threw a joint birthday bash for more than 200 friends and relatives at Fawsley Hall Hotel in Northamptonshire — with 57-year-old father Roddy Campbell proving he can still get down with the kids.

Newly released photos show the former hedge fund manager-turned-entrepreneur only too happy to go along with the ‘Absolute Filth’ dress code.

The Old Etonian, whose parenting style Edie once described as ‘very liberal’, donned a lady’s black swimsuit, bunny ears and fishnets.

Later in the night, he could be seen posing in a sailor cap with a topless Edie, 26, while watching his youngest daughter Olympia, 21, spank the exposed bottom of her elder brother Arthur.

Edie, goddaughter of Conde Nast chairman Nicholas Coleridge, was discovered by snapper Mario Testino aged 15 and has appeared on the cover of Vogue and starred in Burberry’s 2016 summer campaign. A Courtauld graduate, she once dated Bryan Ferry’s son, Otis.

Her mother, architect Sophie Hicks who was also at the party, commented alongside a picture of her daughters on social media: ‘My two tartlets’.

However, the photos have provoked a bemused reaction from other followers, with one noting: ‘It’s disturbing that the father’s new wife is only two years older than his daughter and he is still able to look at his daughter’s half-naked body.’

Roddy’s new young Turkish wife Elif Kutsal, the McKinsey oil and gas consultant whom he wed in 2016 after divorcing Hicks, commented wryly on Instagram: ‘This is the family I married into’.

Others in attendance included Idina Moncreiffe, described by Tatler as a potential bride for Prince Harry before he started dating Meghan Markle; artist Alba Hodsoll, dressed as a dominatrix; and socialite Tiger Chadwick, daughter of artist Danny Chadwick and Lady Georgia Byng, daughter of the 8th Earl of Strafford.

By the end of the night’s festivities, 26-year-old Tiger found herself naked in a field, with nothing but a leaf to cover her modesty.

Roddy once complained he didn’t know why he spent so much on his daughters’ education, given their career choices.

Edie went to £24,000-a-year St Paul’s and Olympia to the £17,000-a-year City of London School for Girls.

Meghan Markle opens her heart about Prince Harry in Vanity Fair magazine — but Zara Phillips’s husband, Mike Tindall, chooses to tell all in a nightclub.

The former England rugby captain is to give a talk at Annabel’s, the Mayfair private club, whose members will have to stump up £45 each to hear his bon mots.

Tindall will join his former England team-mates Andy Goode and Will Greenwood at the talk later this month, in which they will discuss their ‘career highlights’. Nightclubs can be dangerous places for Tindall. He was effectively dropped from the national team for his off-field antics during the disastrous World Cup campaign in 2011.

The husband of the Queen’s grand-daughter was also fined £25,000 for his role in the team’s infamous New Zealand night out.

Smarting over their poor performance in the opening match, the players downed cut-price shots at a ‘dwarf-tossing’ competition while the newly married Tindall drunkenly cavorted with a glamorous former girlfriend.

She’s known for directing the raunchy film Fifty Shades Of Grey and marrying a toyboy actor 23 years her junior, but Sam Taylor-Johnson’s expertise does not end there.

This weekend, Taylor-Johnson, 50, gave the kiss of life to a lady who had a heart attack in front of her in a grocery store in America.

Her friends were suitably impressed, with actress Naomi Watts saying: ‘Double brilliance. Just amazing.’

He might be 87 years old and in need of a walking stick, but Sir Sean Connery still favours the style from his heyday as James Bond.

The former 007 stepped out for an early-morning stroll in New York wearing a pale-blue, short-sleeved polo shirt and floppy hat.

Connery donned a similar shirt more than half a century ago in a Jamaican beach scene shot with Bond girl Ursula Andress, now 81, in the 1962 film Dr No.

Instead of jeans, he now favours Nike jogging pants.

Habitat founder Sir Terence Conran is frustrated by London’s loftiest buildings.

‘I like most buildings in the City, except the appalling, huge, top-heavy Walkie Talkie building,’ he says of the skyscraper that sold for a record £1.3 billion in July.

‘It’s a very crude piece of architecture. I went to an event on the top floor which had a glazed roof and the noise was horrific.’

He performed the most memorable saxophone solo in pop history, but Raphael Ravenscroft left just £1,000 in his will.

The musician, who died from a suspected heart attack in 2014 aged 60, played the haunting part on Gerry Rafferty’s hit Baker Street.

He was reportedly paid just £27 for the solo — with a cheque that bounced.

By contrast, Rafferty was able to live for the rest of his life from the song, earning around £80,000 per year in royalties.

According to probate documents, Ravenscroft’s estate was worth up to £325,000 but, after his affairs were finalised, this produced a net estate of just £1,000.

It will go to his widow, Nicola.

A former music teacher at York College, he followed up his success with Baker Street by working with artists such as Pink Floyd, Abba and Marvin Gaye.

He didn’t hold a grudge about his measly payment for Baker Street and recorded a tribute for Rafferty’s funeral in 2011 called Forgiveness.

At the age of 91, Sir David Attenborough can still become so terrified that he will leap in the air.

‘I’ve handled deadly spiders, snakes and scorpions but, if I see a rat, I’ll run,’ says the naturalist. ‘If a rat appears in a room, I have to work hard to prevent myself from jumping on the nearest table.’
