Models may be known for their looks, but one modeling coach has proven that it takes more than a pretty face to confidently strut the catwalk.
Eneida, who is known as ‘Eneida Style,’ went viral on TikTok after giving a behind-the-scenes look at the technique she uses to teach her clients how to perfect their runway walks.
‘This technique is helpful when you wear a long gown [so] you don’t step on [it], as well as when you walk downstairs,’ she explained in the caption.
The eye-opening video shows two young models wearing form-fitting black tops, leggings, and sky-high heels while inside a mirrored workout studio.

They are each standing in front of a row of dumbbells that are spread out across lines of black tape as they await Eneida’s direction.
‘Okay ladies, your next walk is going to be with some obstacles,’ she tells them.
‘You are going to lift your leg up and kick,’ she explains. ‘Lift, kick. Lift, kick. Lift, kick. And, basically, your legs are going to be long — not bended knees.’
Eneida counts to eight and they begin strutting over the dumbbells. They are looking straight ahead with their shoulders back.
As the modeling coach explained in previous videos, posture is of the utmost importance for runway models.
When they get to the end of the makeshift runway, they walk back the same way as Eneida continues her eight counts.
The video has been viewed more than 2.9 million times, and many commenters were blown away by their training.

Some couldn’t resist poking fun at what they would look like trying the walk for themselves.
‘Me practicing this for prom with my long a** dress and 6-inch heels waiting for a disaster to happen,’ one person wrote.
‘Walking up to the bouncers at the club trying to convince them you’re sober,’ someone else joked.
‘How I walk when I’m with the homies,’ another added.
Others admitted they weren’t sure what they were watching.
‘Am I the only one that thinks the walk looks weird,’ one viewer asked.
‘Of course it does, because it is exaggerated,’ Eneida responded. ‘So you learn the technique [and] then you can smooth it out and make it seem seamless.’
