Models spotted wearing Lovehoney necklace vibrators at Karla Spetic Australian Fashion Week runway

An X-rated accessory in these models’ outfits at Australian Fashion Week is raising eyebrows… but can you spot it?

An X-rated accessory was discreetly styled into several designer looks at Australian Fashion Week, leaving fashionistas doing double takes from the sidelines.

On Wednesday night, the latest ready-to-wear collection from Karla Špetić graced the runway at Australian Fashion Week, and some models were either carrying or wearing tiny vibrators.

While the easy-to-miss detail is said to be a nod to Karla’s sponsor, online sex shop Lovehoney, some spectators said it encouraged a healthy sex life and destigmatised self-pleasure.

The Lovehoney Dare Discreet Necklace Vibrator, priced at $97.45, looks more like a luxurious pen or long pendant rather than a sex toy.

Other models were seen holding the Luxury 12 Function Rechargeable Silicone Clitoral Vibrator and Desire Luxury Rechargeable Bullet Vibrator.

Before that, she was snapped outside Carriageworks in Redfern to show off the look.

As an advocate for a healthy and fulfilling sex life, Chantelle is no stranger to incorporating sex toys into her wardrobe.

Her daring and playful approach to fashion showcases how sex toys can be stylish, playful and functional.

This is the second time Karla has partnered with Lovehoney for fashion week.

Speaking of the decision to include a spicy gadget, Karla said: ‘This season I was thinking a lot about the natural world, wellness and tapping into the earth’s frequency and raising higher vibrations.

‘We are doing exactly that with Lovehoney this season – raising higher vibrations for our audience.’

The collection as a whole tunes into the overarching theme of grounding, with the Earth’s natural frequencies.

‘Everything is energy, I was thinking about reconnecting to the natural world. I wanted to get back to basics and tap into that,’ Karla added.
