Mohammed Kudus breathed new life into Arsenal’s fading Premier league title hopes by cutting West Ham’s against Manchester City in extraordinary fashion.

The Gunners came into the final day of the campaign knowing they need to better Pep Guardiola’s side’s result to lift their first top-flight title in 20 years.

But pre-match optimism was dashed when the defending champions raced to a two goal lead in the first 20 minutes of their Etihad contest.

Meanwhile, at the Emirates, Arsenal had gone a goal behind to Everton thanks to a deflected free-kick by Idrissa Gueye. But the mood in north London would quickly change as Takehiro Tomiyasu grabbed an equaliser.

Before Kudus produced a stunning bicycle kick to bring the Hammers to within one of their hosts.
