A Canadian mother and daughter have gone missing during a camping trip in California.
Audrey Rodrigue, 29, and her daughter Emily, 10, arrived at San Francisco International Airport on Saturday where they rented a car at the airport.
The pair checked out of their Vagabond Hotel in Burlingame at noon on Sunday and Audrey text her boyfriend as they set out for their next hotel Pigeon Point just 40 miles away.

But they never arrived. And Audrey’s boyfriend says he was not able to contact her after her initial text.
He reported her missing the following day, SF Gate reports.
Audrey and Emily had a reservation for the Fish Lake Campground, near Orleans, in Humboldt County, for Tuesday.
Park rangers searched the camp and showed photos of the mother and daughter to campers and staff who say they think the duo visited the camp but left before the rangers arrived so were not aware of the search for them.
Campers said the pair didn’t seem to be in any distress.
Police are now asking anyone who spots Audrey and Emily, or their gray 2018 Ford Focus, license no. 8DIN900, to call 911.
