Annette Nesbitt, 34, was arrested for DUI after her car was seen swerving with her daughter in the back seat

A Florida woman told police to ‘just take me to jail’ after being pulled over on suspicion of DUI with her 6-year-old daughter in the car.

Annette Nesbitt, 34, had just picked up her daughter from her elementary school in Lady Lake Florida when multiple witnesses called 911 to report her car swerving and driving erratically.

When an officer pulled Nesbitt over, he said he noticed her eyes were glassy, droopy and breath smelled of alcohol, the affidavit said.

The woman also couldn’t provider her ID, registration or proof of insurance.

Dash cam audio recorded the conversation between Nesbitt and police.

‘You were driving into oncoming traffic with your daughter in the back seat. Do you see the problem with that?’ the officer is heard asking.

‘I’m a terrible, horrible mom,’ she replied in what appears to be an unapologetic tone.

The woman also told officers she was a recovering alcoholic, who took medication for anxiety and was going through difficult times.

Lady Lakes police told WKMG TV that she took staggered steps once outside of her vehicle but refused to perform a sobriety test. It was then that she told police to take her to jail.

While the mother was speaking to the officer, her daughter started crying from the back seat.

Nesbitt is charged with DUI and child endangerment. No lawyer is listed on records.
