A mother has horrified the internet after describing what her vagina looked like after she gave birth to her daughter.
Val Emanuel, 33, from Los Angeles, is an actress and the founder of Rif Care, a brand of organic menstrual products. She has more than 90,000 followers on TikTok, where she documents her life as a mom and entrepreneur.
The content creator, who uses the handle @malibumama__, went viral after she recalled looking at her postpartum vagina for the first time.
‘No one tells you what it’s going to look like after you give birth, but I’m just telling you right now,’ she began her eye-opening video.

Emanuel said she looked at herself ‘down there’ for the first time when she was eight years old.
‘Then I think I looked every once in a while because I was like, “Mmm, this cute little quarter-slot machine looking situation,’ she explained.

‘I didn’t rip. I didn’t tear. I was very proud of that, so I thought it was going to be normal,’ she said. ‘Newsflash, it looks like ground turkey. It looks like ground turkey, but just for like two weeks. Then it looks like sliced turkey.’
Emanuel added that at some point between giving birth and 12 weeks of recovery, ‘it goes back to looking like whatever it looked like before.’
‘My slot machine is back. I’m happy to say that. It’s a little different though,’ she concluded.

Other viewers who have given birth shared how their vaginas looked like everything from ‘Twinkies’ to ‘beat up orange slices’ before they recovered.
‘Pro tip: DON’T LOOK for a while, like eight weeks,’ one mom advised.
