Mom who played sick game with kids faces charges after running over eight-year-old girl as she tried to cling to car door handle

A wicked mother was arrested after running over her eight-year-old daughter while playing a sick game with her children.

Jasmine White, 27, from South Bend, Indiana, was arrested on September 11 after allegedly speeding away in her Chevy Equinox while the girl held on to the car door handle on August 29 at Cedar Glen Apartments.

The twisted game, that White frequently plays with her kids, involves her racing her children to the car, locking the doors and driving away, pretending to leave them behind.

At the time, White’s other daughter, six, said their mother was driving faster than usual, leading her sister to get her foot caught on the back tire of the car – going an estimated 15-20 mph – before her head slammed on the ground.

The eight-year-old was taken to the hospital in critical condition after she suffered severe head injuries, lost five teeth, and was left with a large gash on her face that exposed the front of her skull, according to court documents reviewed by WNDU.

Alarming video footage reportedly captured the moment White sped away in her silver SUV while her young child hung on the front passenger door handle, according to charging documents.

Authorities determined that White was driving at an estimated 15-20 mph at the time of the brutal incident.

Her injured daughter spent several days in the hospital where she was intubated and had to receive IV sedation. She has since been released.

The eight-year-old has been diagnosed with skull and orbital fractures and various abrasions, including the large laceration on her face.

White has been charged with neglect of a dependent resulting in serious injury and neglect of a dependent resulting in a dangerous situation.

According to arrest records, she has been released on $5,000 cash bond. White is expected to appear in court on September 27.

On June 6 an Indiana mother was left shocked and scared after thinking her seven-day-old baby girl was kidnapped outside of daycare.

Sabriya Miles had just dropped off her four-year-old son at a daycare in Evansville, Indiana and left her newborn Adrian in the backseat of her gold Chevy when she noticed a stranger got in her vehicle and sped away.

But in a stunning twist, the car was actually being repossessed – and police say the repo man was unaware there was an infant inside the car when he took it.

Miles, who has two other children, said she watched in horror as the stranger drove off with her car, worried that her newborn was being kidnapped.

She and another mother then chased the car down the street, but to no avail, leaving the new mother in a panic as she reported a possible kidnapping to the local police.

For several minutes, Miles said she was at a loss of words as she and another mother tried to chase down the vehicle.

‘I couldn’t talk, I was just too frustrated and I was crying,’ Miles recounted to WFIE.

‘I carried my baby for nine months and now I lost her?’

She claims she had no warning that her car was going to be repossessed before the repo man sped off with her newborn daughter.

Fortunately, after driving just a few miles, the unidentified driver pulled over and noticed the newborn before calling the police to retrieve the child.
