A car was spotted hanging over the edge of a wall at Bondi Beach as it dangles above a footpath.

The silver car was captured between the rails at the car park, with the front wheels hanging over the edge on Saturday afternoon.

One Facebook user shared the image to an online group saying that ‘sculpture by the sea is starting early this year’.

Luckily for the car’s driver, the usually popular beach was looking pretty grim with only a few people eager to venture out into the gloomy weather.

‘So lucky it was gross weather and there were no beach goers,’ one wrote.

A couple of garbage bins were pictured acting as a barrier so pedestrians don’t walk under the overhanging car.

The photo attracted hundreds with many saying it wasn’t the first time they had seen a car dangle over the Bondi Beach wall.

'Lucky it was bad weather! Would have hurt a lot of people otherwise,' someone shared online with a pictured of a different rogue car (pictured) which ended up on the sand

Other people shared photos of other cars breaking through the same car park barriers at Bondi where one car even managed to land on the sand.

‘Thankfully it was a stormy day as he ploughed from Moo Cafe, across grass and ended up here,’ one user recalled about a previous car.
