This is the moment an angry father confronts a dollar store clerk who made an inappropriate joke to his 12-year-old daughters buying their first sanitary pads.
The footage, which has reemerged on Reddit, is recorded by the father, who is not seen in the clip, but he can be heard scolding the clerk for his attitude towards his daughters, who are understood to be twins starting their period at the same time.
As the clip begins, the father can be heard confronting the clerk, saying: ‘My wife and daughters came in her to buy some pads and you cracked a joke and embarrassed my daughters – you think that’s okay?’

The sheepish check out assistant tries to defend himself and replies: ‘I wasn’t trying to embarrass anyone…’
But the father cuts him off and says: ‘They just started their period.’
Trying weakly to defend himself, the clerk says: ‘I wasn’t making a joke about them, I just said what will the neighbors think.’
But the angry dad dismisses his defense and says: ‘How will that make them feel – especially 12-year-old girls,’ before suggesting the sarcastic clerk has prior form with snarky comments.
