Using his pointing fingers, he pets the chest of the ducks and the yellow one even opens its eyes briefly.

But the video cuts with the camera person zooming out of the view.

According to the People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), it is not wise to have just one duck as a pet as they suffer from extreme loneliness and depression.

Ducklings require heat lamps in their first few weeks of life and these lamps have caused plenty of house fires. 

These small birds can also imprint on their owner – meaning look to them as a parent – and can become dependent on always being around them. 

Ducks can sleep and live inside but need access to large outdoor areas with bodies of water.

These loud animals also use the restroom approximately every half hour and their living spaces require constant cleaning as a result. 

Some people use diapers on ducks to ease the constant relieving but that can be unsettling for ducks.

Also, ducks are known to eat things lying around the house and require constant supervision.

And it is crucial to find veterinarians who are accustomed with handling ducks, which is uncommon.

But ducks do have a life expectancy of 20 years.
