This is the moment a killjoy neighbour complained about the volume of the music blaring from David Beckham’s 50th birthday bash at a top restaurant in Notting Hill.

Rounding off four days of celebrations, including a family party in the Cotswolds and a trip to France, Victoria hosted a star-studded dinner for her husband at Core – a three Michelin-star restaurant in Kensington, west London.

The family celebrated with A-list pals including Tom Cruise and David’s former teammates at the British fine dining establishment run by former Gordan Ramsay chef Clare Smyth.

But neighbours complained when the party continued into the early hours leading to a visit from two council officers at 3:35am which saw the loud music promptly shut off following complaints from neighbours.

Video footage shows a woman speaking to someone inside the restaurant as Sister Sledge’s hit track We Are Family played loudly.

She can be heard saying: ‘I live upstairs. What time is event ending? I’m getting messages from other neighbours about the noise.’

Meanwhile, another neighbour who lives above the restaurant was pictured hanging out his window disapprovingly.

An onlooker told The Sun: ‘David’s party really went off and the longer time went on, the louder the music seemed to get.

‘Some neighbours weren’t very happy when it was still so loud at 2am and leaned out windows to see where the racket was from.’

Kensington and Chelsea Council told MailOnline that advice was given to minimise disruption and onlookers revealed that the music stopped immediately.

They said: ‘We have a very responsive and professional team who investigate noise complaints and take action where necessary.

‘Usually, and in this case, that means issuing some advice at a location, so disruption is kept to a minimum for residents living nearby.’

David and wife Victoria were joined by three of their children, Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and 13-year-old Harper – however their eldest, Brooklyn, 25, and his wife Nicola Peltz, 30, were absent from all of the events.

It was exclusively reported over the weekend that their son Brooklyn, 25, and his wife Nicola Peltz, 30, failed to attend any of the events hosted by the family, with the reason behind their fallout revealed here by Mail+.

And in Brooklyn’s absence Romeo, as the second oldest child, made sure to make his dad’s birthday special and delivered the speech to the Manchester United stars closest friends and family.

Romeo could be seen clutching several cue cards in his hand as he arrived at the London venue on Saturday and was also seen holding a key role at Wednesday night’s bash, held at the Beckham family’s Cotswolds home, with a snap showing him proudly carrying candlelit cupcakes to the table.

He reportedly told guests: ‘Good evening everyone. I would like to start by thanking you all for being here tonight. I know without many of you in here tonight he wouldn’t be half of the man he is today. But to the man of the moment…’.
