The stolen truck smashed through the front of the Valley Inn Hotel in Hope Valley just after 5am on Monday, causing extensive damage.

Staff member Anishma Nepal had only just begun her shift when she heard the deafening crash, Nine News reported.

‘I heard a loud noise outside, when I came and saw from that door there was a big truck smashed in the wall,’ Ms Nepal said.

‘I was so scared and I called my manager.’

‘I’m in shock, I don’t know if I’m going to be able to trade. I don’t know,’ Mr Hill said.
