Mormon influencer reveals her horror at learning she was pregnant by boyfriend of just THREE MONTHS

A Mormon influencer has revealed her horror at learning she was pregnant by her boyfriend of just three months – and admitted that she ‘bawled her eyes out’ due to the intense ‘guilt and shame’ she felt over it.

Paige Arminta Watts, 32, from Utah, revealed back in December that she and her boyfriend, Tevita, 25, were expecting a child together.

Now, the social media star – who has racked up more than 236,000 followers across her accounts – has spoken out about her pregnancy journey in a new TikTok video, and opened up about the internal struggles that she faced due to her religion.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has strict rules for its members, including no having sex before marriage – so when Paige discovered that she was expecting a baby, she said she started sobbing immediately.

‘I was not excited until about month five,’ she told her followers in the clip, which has been viewed more than 22,000 times.

‘One, being because I was really sick and two, I am still an active member of the Mormon church. Here was the problem, I let my guilt and shame take over.’

Paige admitted that the ‘alarming’ news ‘put a wrench in her and Tevita’s relationship’ at first, but in the end, she said it has only made them stronger.

‘We have come a very long way in our relationship,’ she said. ‘We’ve learned a lot about each other.

‘We’ve already gone through a lot of hard things and had hard conversations, which I know is preparing us for more to come.’

‘I’m 32, I’ve wanted kids [for so long], I was gonna go to a sperm bank at 34 and here I am pregnant with an amazing man,’ she continued.

‘Yet I bawled my eyes out every day [at first]. With all the pregnancy hormones, on top of dealing with religious guilt and shame, it’s hard.’

While Paige admitted that she’s faced some backlash over her pregnancy on social media, she said that everyone she knows has been ‘thrilled’ about the news, despite the fact that it was a ‘shock’ to them at first.

‘I have trolls on social media calling me trash but being pregnant and creating a child, nothing about this is trash,’ she added.

‘My experience was not the same as everyone else’s that I’ve seen on social media. No one talks about it.

‘I have not heard any stories publicly shared about going through something like this when you are raised and taught differently.’
