A make-up artist has treated women with illnesses and severe skin conditions to incredible transformations in heartwarming before and after photos.
Goar Avetisyan, 23, who was born in Armenia but is based in Moscow, is a make-up artist and stylist with a 4.1 million-strong Instagram following.
She posts before-and-after shots of her clients undergoing dramatic makeovers – and her latest set had the internet praising her ‘incredibly inspirational’ work.

Writing on her Instagram, she explained that her mission was to ‘give faith and hope to those who have completely despaired and lost it.’
The women featured include one lady who is going through chemotherapy, another who has severe acne and a woman with severe burns who wanted wedding makeup.
According to a recent post on Goar’s Instagram, she often spends two-and-a-half hours perfecting a client’s look.
She wrote: ‘I can’t even explain this feeling when you do a makeover for somebody and you make this person happy and more self confident. You help the person love themselves more.’

Lilya was born with a birthmark on her face and has also had two skin grafts. She explained to the makeup artist that she struggled with the way her eyebrow grew in. She also struggled to apply makeup, noting that her skin had a ‘polished’ texture – and she was thrilled with her makeover
