A mother has been arrested over the deaths of her two severely disabled adult children.
The Gold Coast woman was taken into custody on Wednesday in connection to the deaths of her 18-year-old daughter and 26-year-old son.
It will be alleged the mother poisoned them over an ‘extended period’, Nine News reported.

Police said the deaths, which were originally treated as suicide, occurred between September 2012 and July last year.
The woman is expected to be charged with murder later on Wednesday.
