Mother convinced baby girl will be ‘trouble’ after she swears in scans

Mother-to-be is convinced her baby girl is going to be trouble after she’s spotted flipping the bird TWICE in her scans

  • Ang Slater, 33, from Pennsylvania, spotted her baby swearing in her ultrasound
  • Was stunned when her unborn baby made some unmistakable hand gestures
  •  She burst out laughing when she was ‘flipped off’ by her little girl
  • She suspects she’ll be just like her ‘free-willed’ and ‘straight-to-the point’ mother

A mother-to-be is convinced her unborn daughter is going to be ‘trouble’ after she was spotted swearing twice in 3D baby scans.

Ang Slater from Pottstown, Pennsylvania, went for an ultrasound when she was 25-weeks pregnant last month but was stunned when her unborn baby girl made some unmistakable hand gestures – giving the middle finger in one snap and sticking two fingers up in another.

The 33-year-old said she burst out laughing when she was ‘flipped off’ by her little girl and that she suspects she’ll be just like her ‘free-willed’ and ‘straight-to-the point’ mother.

Footage of the 4D scan shows the little girl wriggling around in the womb before she appears to aim her middle finger directly at her watching mother.

Soon after she appeared to stick up two fingers in a similar manner to Liam Gallagher, though Ang said it could be a ‘peace’ sign as a way of apologising for earlier ‘flipping her off’.

But the first-time mother who went through fertility treatment to conceive believes that her expressive gestures not only show her cheeky character but are symbolic of everything she went through.

Ang said: ‘I could possibly have the sweariest baby ever if she’s doing that in the womb.

‘Towards the end of the ultrasound she actually flipped us off on both hands at different times and towards the very end she did the peace sign.

‘When she put her middle finger up I just started laughing because I kind of have that kind of attitude myself so it was just really funny I was like ‘oh, she’s like me already we’re in trouble’.

‘I’m a little nervous. I think she’s going to be a lot like me and that scares me a little bit. I’d say I’m pretty free-willed, blunt and straight to the point.

‘I thought her doing the peace sign was really cute. It was kind of like ‘ok I flipped you off but peace everything is good’.’

Ang revealed when she finally fell pregnant she didn’t believe it and had to take 30 pregnancy tests

Ang said: ‘I had difficulty getting pregnant and went through fertility treatment.

‘It was really difficult because you have all this excitement at the opportunity that this medication can really help you and it didn’t take that long, it only took four cycles, but then month after month, there’s a lot of letdowns because you think ‘this could be it’.

‘And then you wait two weeks after the treatment to take a pregnancy test and you start to get period symptoms but also they’re the same symptoms of pregnancy, so it’s a lot of disappointment and anticipation.

‘When I got the positive pregnancy test I didn’t believe it and literally took 30 tests and I still didn’t believe it, then had two blood tests and still didn’t believe it, and truthfully, I still don’t believe it.
