As many parents get creative on the run up to Christmas with mischievous elf scenes for their children to wake up to Mckenzie and her partner decided to dial the pranks up a notch.

The couple opted to cut holes in their little girls nightwear with a scissors as she slept and they blamed the Christmas elf.

At the beginning of the clip the pesky elf is seen resting on the tot’s pillow, with a pair of scissors.

However at 10:50pm, the little girl woke up and went into her mum’s room without realising what had happened to her nightwear.
