A mother-of-four faces losing her sight after she was jumped by a gang of thugs in Melbourne.
Lisa Hession, from Sydney, said she and her husband, Mark, were attacked by the gang while walking through Melbourne in the early hours of May 5.
She said the pair were on holiday celebrating Mark’s birthday when the group of four young African and Pacific Island women began viciously beating them, according to A Current Affair.

‘They ripped my hair and my face has just gone down and I felt really hard punches,’ she told A Current Affair.
‘I said I’ve got kids, I don’t want any trouble, just leave us alone.’
Mark tried to stop the attack on his wife but was also overpowered by the gang.
Lisa suffered bruising to her body and lips, as well as a fractured eye socket. The injuries could leave her without sight in her left eye.
The couple claim Victoria Police officers at the scene of the assault didn’t take a statement from them or photograph their injuries.
Ms Hession said she contacted Victoria Police repeatedly.
Three weeks after the attack, she said she was told the incident had not been officially recorded in their system.
‘They’ve not done their job,’ she told A Current Affair.
Eddy, a father of seven, told the program his daughter was badly beaten by a gang outside a supermarket in Melbourne.
He said they were wearing gang colours, more commonly associated with the American street gangs the Bloods and Crips, which originated in Los Angeles in the 1970s.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Victoria Police for comment.
