A mother-of-three has been paralysed and told she may never walk again after she fell trying to save a kitten stuck up a tree.
Perth woman Rachel Maree, 30, is in hospital after the horrific accident, and doctors told her she may never walk again.
She posted a note on Facebook saying she was ‘pretty drugged up and in extreme pain’.
‘Hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst.’

Blogger Constance Hall paid testament to her bravery while she is recovering in hospital.
Ms Hall said the woman’s new kitten was stuck up a tree and when she tried to rescue it she fell, and landed on a root.
She was notified of the accident by Ms Maree’s friend Rikki Livingston.
‘Rikki wants you to know that this is going to be the biggest battle that you two will ever face but your facing it together,’ Ms Hall wrote.
‘I can’t understand why this has happened to such a beautiful person.
