A devastated mother told of her heartbreak after her son killed himself less than a year after his sister took her own life.

Dyllon Beadle, 21, was discovered dead in his Manchester home in October. His sister Quinn Beadle, 17, took her own life on December 9, 2018.

Only weeks before they received the devastating news, the family saw Dyllon who they said ‘was on top form’.

Their mother Tracey Beadle, 39, said: ‘He was haunted by her death and couldn’t live without her. They are together again and that is some comfort.’

The night before Dyllon died his housemates said they had all been dancing around and that they hadn’t gone to bed until midnight.

Dyllon had sent a text asking his mother to post him a book, but she said she only saw the text when she woke up.

The next day Dyllon’s friend found him, he called an ambulance but the teenager had been dead for some time.

Speaking to Mirror.co.uk Tracey and her husband said they had been devastated by his death.

She added: ‘I think I always knew Dyllon would do this because I knew he couldn’t bear to be without her, but I hoped he could have held on a bit longer.

‘This world is a darker place without them. Our hearts are broken.’

The family turned the tree where Quinn hanged herself into a memorial, complete with candles, flowers, bird boxes and lights

Quinn, from Durham, had ordered her favourite takeaway dish, a chicken korma, before announcing to her family that she was ‘popping out’.

Their parents said Dyllon had been unable to cope with the death of his sister

Twenty minutes later, her father David, 38, stumbled across the tragic scene while walking their dogs after noticing police and paramedics crowded near the area.

The parents described it as ‘just another day’, with the teenager baking and watching TV with her mother before ordering the takeaway.

Quinn had been battling depression after it was alleged a man in his 50s groomed her over a three-month period in December 2016.

Durham Police investigated the allegations but no arrests were made.

After her death, the family set up charity Quinn’s Retreat to help other families going through a similar ordeal and are raising funds.

They are now considering changing the name to Quinn and Dyllon’s Retreat.

The family want to scatter Dyllon’s ashes along with Quinn’s.
