A mother who was desperately searching for her missing diabetic daughter has revealed the girl is back home in response to a concerned tweet from Danniella Westbrook.

Sharon Glendinning frantically appealed for help in finding her 13-year-old daughter Morgan, who hadn’t been seen since Monday – the first day of the school holidays.

The EastEnders actress reached out to Sharon on Twitter on Tuesday asking if Morgan had been found yet, and the mother confirmed she was back home and safe.

In the tweet, Danniella asked: ‘Have you found your daughter?’

Sharon replied: ‘Yes thank God she is now home and we giving her lots of hugs and busy sorting out her diabetes. Thank you x.’ 

Morgan’s family feared the schoolgirl from Rushden in Northamptonshire travelled to London after meeting a person on Instagram.

Morgan is diabetic and was believed to have gone missing without taking her medication with her.

At the time when Morgan was missing, her distraught father Brian, 46, said: ‘We don’t exactly know why she has gone missing.’

Sharon said when Morgan was still missing: 'This is my daughter she is believed to have travelled to London, possibly Ealing area.

He continued: ‘She has been talking to different people on Instagram.

‘She is very secretive about who she talks to. We think she might have met up with them on there.’
