A mom’s story about how a grieving grandfather treated her son to three toy dinosaurs in Target has gone viral on Facebook.

She posted a photo of her 18-month-old son, Owen, sitting in a Target red trolley holding a $20 note with three dinosaur toys on his lap.
She captioned the photo: ‘this momma just cried in the middle of Target. We were at target waiting on Grammi and we found some dinosaurs.
‘Owen grabbed all 3 and we were trying to pick out which one he wanted when Owen abruptly yelled “HI” at this older man walking past us.
‘He turned around and said “hey sweet boy” he proceeded to play dinosaurs with Owen and with this crazy world we live in I was a little hesitant as too how close he was with Owen.
She posted another photo of Owen on her Facebook Monday with the caption: ‘We are in Quincy, IL and the lady at the front desk of our hotel recognized Owen and she said ‘the $20 bill and 3 dinosaur post!’ whaattt? lol’
‘The man got his wallet out and pulled a $20 out, he put it in Owens pocket on his shirt and said “i just lost my 2 year old grandson last week. You take this money and buy this boy all three dinosaurs” and rubbed Owens back, wiped his tears and walked off.
‘After Owen yelled “thank you” the gentleman turned around and yelled boomer sooner! There is still some good in this world.’
Since the post went viral, Alyssa also revealed on Facebook that Owen is getting recognized.
She said they were in Quincy, IL on Monday and ‘the lady at the front desk of our hotel recognized Owen.’
Her entire caption read: ‘this little guy is such a blessing to us, and now SOOO MANY MORE. I never imagined my post would reach so many people.
